DevOps/SREAs cliché as it may sound, I truly believe that in today’s fast-paced world, the only constant is ‘change’. This change, more often than not, is driven by technology in the professional realm and the ability to reinvent oneself in the personal realm. As an eternally curious person who ‘collects pieces of knowledge as a child collects pokemon on Pokemon Go’, I am in a state of constant change and re-invention, both professionally and personally.A young boy, fascinated by the power of computers, I enrolled myself in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín and graduated as a young Developer in 2007. Over my 15-year-long career, I have developed tools and systems using DevOps practices for optimized business continuity. Along with having mastered multiple tools and technologies, -including, but not limited to: AWS, terraform, python, golang and so many more- I have also mastered fostering and maintaining long term professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Currently, as an Infrastructure Developer with a focus on DevOps/SRE who discovered most development tools to satiate my curiosity, I refused to limit myself only to my full-time work. Having been fascinated by the endless possibilities of open source, I have over time developed projects which, along with those developed at work, are all available at http://github.com/axltxl.While my professional learning comes from my full-time work and part-time projects, my life learnings come from travelling. My first exposure to travelling to Europe was as a 24-year-old travelling to Paris. Over the years, I travelled across countries and upon living in Denmark I realised the importance of a balanced life, and I have been here ever since!. Inspired by my travels, I decided to learn various languages as an insight into people and culture worldwide. Today, I am well-versed in English (C1), French (B1) and Italian (B1) in addition to my mother tongue, Spanish. When not at work or learning something new, I like to play and (very occasionally) design video games. I am also extremely passionate about running, which I have been doing since 24!
