Ship superintendent of three factory vessels that are operating in the Falkland Islands (New Polar, Robin M. Lee & Sil), as well as superintendent during the shipbuilding and operation of the longliner Polar Bay (St. Helena's flag)

Fleet technical manager for South African, Namibian and Angolan fleet: 17 fishing trawlers.Jobs performed include: Management, repairs and modifications of the vessels, in Cape Town (South Africa) and Walvis Bay (Namibia), either on port or drydock. Liaise with flag state and class society, technical solutions, purchase control and negotiation with suppliers.

Worldwide fleet technical inspector among the different fleets of the company, which includes the fleet of Angola, Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique. The tasks were to inspect, repair (drydocking), deal with flags and class including surveys and getting certificates, on dry dock and on port.I was also involved as project manager applying new technologies to improve the fleet.

Naval engineer in charge of the fleet from SATO, including a tug, four dredges, two floating docks (orientated to made concrete blocks for ports with a length up to 55 meters), several pontoons (self-propelled and towed) and various auxiliary and support ships for maritime works.The functions are diverse and include engineering, economics, bureaucracy, software development and inspection of ships, among others. Some of the frequent tasks área: - Preventive and corrective maintenance plans development - Drydocking management and monitorization (from office or "in situ") - Stability books and ocean-going tug studies. - Perform of internal audits. - New technologies projects - Study, creation and preparation of offers as well as contracting and negotiating with suppliers. - Crew management - Studies and develpment of economic plans

Collaboration in different engineering and investigation projects with Technical University of Madrid, including European projects from the 7th Framework Programme: TROPOS and JOULES, and also the Spanish project SMART COx in collaboration with Iberdrola.- The work developed in TROPOS project was the design and study of multi-purpose off-shore platforms where blueprints, numerical analysis of mooring and estimation of energy costs were made.- JOULES project was oriented to develop a mathematic model to improve the energetic efficiency of vessels, testing it in Simulink.- SMART COx project for Iberdrola. Reduction of CO2 emissions for industrial processes. The scope of work included the general design, structural analysis and budget.
