On my day to day I had to manage and develop the following aspects: - Elaboration of a new process for the monthly P&L forecast, so that the Management can make on-time decisions.- Development of a three-year Strategic plan.- Presentation of the Schools’ financial figures to the Deans, proposing recommendations and corrective actions in order to improve programs’ quality and profitability. - Analysing a great variety of investments, both in assets and in companies, with the objective of maintaining IE’s growth over time and to achieve diversification.- Multiple ad-hoc projects such as leading continuous improvements of existing processes, implementing new commercial incentives in order to boost programs … etc.

Quironsalud was having a high annual growth due to the acquisition of various hospitals over the previous years, and, in this context, my main duties were the following: -Performed studies used for decision making to determine the profitability of engaging with new medical specialties.-Analysed the potential financial outcome of investments needed to increase the Hospital’s activity.-Simplified both financial and activity reports to Senior Management.-Explained the monthly financial results to people without financial knowledge, but involved in relevant decision-making.

I was hired in a newly created department which had the objetive to lead a mindset change throughout the company. My main duties were divided into three main pillars:1) Budgeting process:-Elaboration of the Central Support Services’ Budget. -Understand and challenge the different hypothesis used on the Business Unit’s budget.-Consolidation of the whole budget and creation of an executive summary. 2) Improvement of processes:- Creation of a new reporting methodology based on both KPIs and financial performance. - Organisation of a Monthly Committee for each Business Unit.- Preparation of a Financial Monthly Pack In order to share relevant data and my conclusions to the Top management.- This procedure was used for three years after I left the company. 3) Other- Reporting to the representative of the bank syndicate, which monitored our compliance with the ratios defined in the Debt’s refinancing.- Led several cross-functional projects, asked by the senior management (i.e. Group headcount).- Took part in the implementation of a new SAP module.

My main duties were the following:-Performed financial audits and review of internal controls in heterogeneous industries under Spanish and US GAAP and IFRS-Led and mentored multidisciplinary teams, including several training programs (Taught in the master degree of “Audit and Management development” at ICADE University)-Responsible for reporting to managers, partners and international teams-Led a team successfully in a debt-refinancing project for FCC

- Internship at the department responsible for strategic analysis of various firms and markets with constant communication with clients in an international scenario
