About Alejandro Valencia-Tobon

I have acted as project manager, consultant and advisor on a number of international grant-funded projects. I have also produced projects for private and public organisations in Colombia, Finland, Switzerland, the US and the UK. My approach builds on 13 years' experience. I apply an Action-Oriented Approach. Instead of offering a ‘one-fits-all plan', I pay attention to what clients need, and then I adapt myself to meet those needs.I'm flexible, goal-oriented with forensic attention to detail. While doing so, I aim to have efficient communications with clients/investors/funders, writing e-mails, giving/asking for reports, and managing and motivating the team I’m leading. I have experience addressing cultural and behavioural aspects of both the American and European culture, which could be instrumental when communicating with clients or employees from these regions.
