Working as Product Owner on a customer oriented project. Went through one complete model year update, with plans of bringing another one to an end. This period brought multiple features to be integrated, multiple problem reports to be solved and many process and technical improvements. Transition to this role was an interesting journey and one that required quickly adopting to new circumstances as company made a shift in perspective of how process shall be done. Journey however didn't end, each sprint carries something new to be learned or inspires some new ideas to be tested and implemented, I like to constantly search for improvements as process can be almost infinitely refined, and it often happens that what once worked might not work as optimal as it did anymore. Although this role requires a lot of time and energy I still find balance to achieve all responsibilities that are given to me. Nobody is perfect, and definitely not me, so I like to have open communication with my colleagues, whether they are superiors, peers or subordinates, in this way I always know what are my strengths that I should reinforce but also what are my weaknesses that I need to work on. Currently I am part of 2 communities in the company focused on ASPICE SWE.3 process area, this is a nice opportunity to share acquired knowledge but also gain insights into how other people are working and thinking. I am proud on my years as Software Developer because they made me what I am now. I am proud of delivering all the tasks that we entrusted to me. Many lines of code were written, but the process behind that code is what was important, it is the effort to understand how the software should work, think very hard, from different angles, and then create the "perfect" solution. It is the collaboration with colleagues, the brainstorming, the conflict of opinions, the happiness of solving issues together and making something work. A lot of work was done, a lot lot more remains and that future is what makes me excited, I would like to see how far software development will go in following years, how far will automotive go but also software as a whole, smart homes, entertainment, gadgets... In era of AI where we see increasingly cloned content I hope that we will value authenticity more and understand that what makes us human is that personal touch, that small imperfection that we will always have, that interaction, a smile, a tear. I hope that in the end, people will understand that true power of AI lies in the optimization of repetitive work, not in the replacement of creativity.
