I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Calgary with a strong passion for sustainable energy solutions and practical problem-solving. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained hands-on experience by collaborating with teams on projects such as designing and manufacturing an energy-efficient, small-scale wind turbine using SolidWorks and 3D printing. I also developed a fully autonomous garden system using Arduino, C++, and 3D-printed components, successfully integrating light, humidity, and water management sensors to create a self-sustaining environment.Currently, as the Manufacturing Co-Lead for the Industrial Design Club, I manage a team in developing the design of the frame, shelving, railing, and other mechanical supports for Project BiRD, a 30L chemical refinery that produces renewable diesel from vegetable oil, contributing to the future of sustainable fuel.In addition to my technical experience, I am proficient in project management tools such as Asana, Trello, and Microsoft Office 365, and I am pursuing a certification in Engineering Project Management and hold certifications in safety standards, including WHMIS 2015 and laboratory safety. I thrive in collaborative, interdisciplinary environments and am deeply committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within the engineering community. I am eager to apply my computer-aided design, machinery, programming, and interpersonal skills in the energy industry through professional opportunities.
