I am a passionate B2B pharmaceutical entrepreneur and strategist with a proven track record of establishing and managing successful companies focused on the Western Balkan Region. Pharma Maac Group is my lifelong project, operating in six countries (Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia) and recognized as a niche-market specialist. I spent almost two decades in Vienna, which was a crucial turning point in my life. Living there as a student and later as a professional, I gained experience in small and corporate working environments, which shaped my path based on persistence, reliability, and ambition. Motivated by an internal drive, I returned to my birthplace and the Western Balkan Region, where I feel most at home: Sarajevo. Perhaps it's the pioneer spirit in me that loves to build bridges between extremes, turning the seemingly impossible into possible, and swimming against the current. I used to play basketball and still love the game. I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to grow up in and be a part of the great basketball society of Yugoslavia, which was united by a common visionary goal: to be the best in the world ("bićemo prvaci svijeta"). The fact that this incredibly unrealistic vision became a reality (not just once, but five times before this country ceased to exist) makes me understand (and never forget) what real team spirit and complete dedication can achieve. My favorite roles are father, husband, and son. My family makes me feel alive and gives me a clear and lifelong purpose. In the near future, I am committed to continuing and completing the management transformation process in my companies and seeking opportunities to support the younger generation and contribute to positive change in the community.
