As of September 2013, I have started my own business, ConTechPro ApS, with focus on machine vision solutions and robotics, often in symbiotic combination.I see Machine Vision and Robotics as important technology solutions for increasing the level of automation in production companies thereby allowing them to reach higher productivity and better quality, thereby achieving higher competitiveness on the market.Pride, in what I represent and what I achieve, has always been the most important factor and drive in my work.Technical competences:Vision, Halcon, Robotics, ABB, Programming, PLCGeneral competences:Consultancy, System development, Problem analysis, HR management, Project management, Sales management.---My background:Ever since my student days at Copenhagen University in the 80's, where my thesis project was development of an off-line robot programming and simulation system (yes, back then executed on a 386-16Mhz pc!), my professional life has been devoted to innovative, high-end robotic system solutions.In the late 80s and throughout the 90's I've been working developing the robot programming system ROBIN.Throughout the 00's I have been systems manager working with development of the RinasWeld system, leading a team of developers to successfully create a state-of-the-art software solution for robot programming providing a direct link between CAD-design and robotized production. Originally in the shipbuilding industry, and recently also in other industries like construction, bridge building, off-shore and others.The higher automation level has secured thousands of jobs at the same shipyards.More than two decades of working with robot solutions has given me a substantial knowledge about production where robots are employed. A key component has always been to understand the actual needs and make a solution that works to the full satisfaction of the users.
