MSc Graduate in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from NTNU, Norway. My master's thesis "Exploring Cellular Origins of Lung Cancer Genes: A Computational Approach Using Marker Genes and Genomic Databases" investigated the cell-type origins of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) associated with lung cancer by employing a comprehensive computational approach to analyze data from the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) and The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). I'm passionate about health technology, with the ambition to save lives through engineering. I'm also passionate about saving the planet with green solutions. Relevant work fields include bioinformatics, data analysis, software development, biotechnology, process engineering, the aquaculture industry, consultancy and wastewater treatment.Trade certificate as a skilled process operator, with a prior apprenticeship at a fertilizer plant (Algea AS) in Norway. I worked there for four summer vacations after obtaining my trade certificate. I was keen to learn more about chemical engineering after my time at Algea and therefore applied to the MSc program Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at NTNU, Trondheim. I have experience from a previous part-time job at a microbiology startup, working with bacteriophages. I speak fluently in Norwegian, English and Russian. Intermediate Ukrainian, Spanish, Swedish and Danish. I have advanced skills in Python programming, and have been practicing through participation in a student startup working with digital solutions for students, as well as the NTNU courses Information Technology, Introduction, System Biology and Biological Networks and Applied Data Science.I am especially interested in work opportunities in South America (preferably Peru). I speak Spanish at an intermediate level (B1).
