    As part of my previous responsibilities, I managed a set of 18 projects aimed at preparing the factory for higher production volumes. These projects covered various areas, including building construction, process development, implementation of IT systems and applications, and starting up warehousing operation in a completely new facility. In addition to managing the set of 18 projects, it's worth mentioning that this was an evolutionary change or a step change for the company, which impacted most of the operational domains of the manufacturing company. The project required a disciplined project management approach to ensure that every aspect of the project was carefully planned and executed to avoid any disruptions to the ongoing operations. I planned, scheduled, and synchronized all 18 subprojects to ensure that everything ran smoothly. This included overseeing construction works, warehousing technology, H&S, IT WMS system, material flows, wastes, inventory right-sizing, and infrastructure. One of the most exciting aspects of this project was designing material flows from scratch. This involved applying logistics engineering principles to create an efficient and effective system for moving materials throughout the facility. As the warehouse building was not directly adjacent to the production facility, we had a unique opportunity to create a system that truly met our needs.Of course, managing a project of this size came with its fair share of challenges. That's why I was also responsible for risk management and stakeholder communication. By identifying potential problems early on and recommending structured solutions, we were able to keep everything on track and ensure that the project was completed successfully. Despite the complexity of the project, we were able to deliver it on time and within budget, which was a significant achievement for the company.

    Through a three-year collaboration with Volvo Buses, we introduced a new product, specifically a tourist coach bus, and implemented various process changes related to it. This posed a significant challenge in the supply chain, but we were able to create a more efficient and safer working environment for logistics through faster processes and better practices.As part of this project, an optimal layout for two plants was designed utilizing a Systematic Layout Planning approach, and plans were developed for intralogistics between these plants and production operations. Warehouses were decentralized and a new method of material storage and picking, specifically kitting, was implemented for near-production stations.Furthermore, storage and delivery of just-in-time (JIT) big components from Western Europe were successfully planned, delivery strategies based on the assortment group were established, and sequential deliveries of entire sets were introduced. All of these accomplishments were made possible through diligent budgeting and regular monitoring of funds expended, which enabled necessary investments in cranes, shelves, trolleys, and transport devices. The successful outcome of this project and its positive impact on the supply chain and working environment is a source of pride.
