• Developed a sales support system backend for a retail project, reducing expenses by replacing previous integration tools, implementing new promotion and customer retention strategies, and launching an MVP quickly.• Increased test coverage, improved monitoring, and set up a CI/CD pipeline for a legacy project, thus increased release frequency while reducing downtime and error rate.

• Built an experimentation platform for managing data pipelines and recommendation models, automating hundreds of experiments on large datasets. • Created and benchmarked highly-optimized implementations of recommender algorithms, enabling more experiments to be conducted in restricted time.• Finished a research on distributed recommender systems, resulting in over 10 publications, including one in Scopus Q2 and three at international conferences.

• Designed and led the development of a transparent access management system backboned by Oracle and Spring Security, which simplified access rights, integrated new OAuth 2 services, and satisfied new security requirements from the customer. • Implemented integration services using various integration schemes in 8 different projects, including REST, SOAP, MQ, DB-based, and legacy FTP, and led a team of five developers in charge of integrations on one project. • Engineered several automation tools that helped deliver more than ten presale projects, each in less than two weeks.• Optimized numerous complex SQL queries in different projects that used Oracle and PostgreSQL.Implemented an integration service for a custom hardware system that processes thousands of measurements per minute and exposes an API for drawing plots. • Mentored five junior and internship developers on three projects.
