My name is Aleksandra Demetruk and I am in my final term of Massage Therapy at Algonquin College, graduating in December 2024In my hometown of Thunder Bay, ON, I worked as a medical lab assistant during the pandemic and realized I wanted a more "hands-on" approach to client care and decided to start my career in massage therapy! Growing up, I was in multiple different competitive sports and massage therapy was the most beneficial in keeping my body in the best shape.My dream is to create an environment for my clients to feel supported and confident in my abilities to create change through touch! I would like to focus my learning and specialize in pre and post-natal care as well as lymph training for post-surgical care clients after graduation!I can't wait to start my career in this ever-evolving field.
