Throughout my work, I studied and researched a various aspects of society, from a different sub-fields of sociology, both in academic and non-academic areas. This made me versatile and able to grasp new and unfamiliar concepts quickly! 🌱I got all degree levels in sociology from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy. My research interests are broad, but centred around following topics: Social Inequality, Social Stratification, Political Sociology, Sociology of Ethnicity and Nation, Sociology of Extremism and Terrorism, Sociology of Gender.As a Research Assistant and Research Associate, I have gained various experience in the field of scientific research. My tasks included but were not limited to: planning and conducting research , developing methodology and survey instruments, as well as analyzing collected data.In my postdoc in 2023, I was a researcher within the project "The formation of worker collectivism among migrant workers in Denmark, Germany and the UK" (Department of Sociology and Social Work, Aalborg University, Denmark). My task was to collect empirical data in the UK for the project as a visiting scholar at the University of Manchester. The project examines when and under what conditions migrant workers come to define their interest (and the means to achieve these) in a collectivistic as opposed to individualistic frame.As a teaching assistant, I worked at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy, as a teaching assistant in the following courses: Methodology of Sociological Research 1 and 2 and Sociological Practicum.I had opportunities to develop organisational skills outside of academic, such as civil sector. I was a member of over 20 project teams, on different positions.
