I am a fast learner with good communication skills and strong background in team work and leadership. As an academic, my main research area is Public International Law. In addition to research, I also teach a postgraduate seminar on the subject and undergraduate courses on Legal Theory, Comparative Law and Criminal Law. My second field of academic interest is jurisprudence and political philosophy. I have done some research on Marxism and philosophical anarchism, and currently are pursuing the interest in international legal theory.In addition to academic work, for the last year or so I have been involved in the development and progress of my own business, Estonian Security Agency LLC. We provide security services for both individual clients and business ventures. Our specialty is private security and ground control. As a member of the night economy community for more than a decade and with the support of fellow believers, I decided along with my three co-owners to take the matters into my own hands and provide the services in a way that I see fit and think it should be done. I am an avid moot court enthusiast. I have represented University of Tartu, Institute of Law at the 2005 Friedrich Born IHL Moot Court Competition and 2006 Philip. C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition World Finals. Since 2015 I am a ILSA National Administrator for Estonia at Philip. C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and since 2017 I am a member of the judges panel at the Friedrich Martens IHL Moot Court Competition organised by ICRC. On my spare time I like to devote myself to reading and exercise. In addition to spending my mandatory hours in the gym, I also enhance my spirit and character by practising shotokan karate-do. I am a member of the Estonian branch of Japan Shotokan Karate Association and hold the certificate of an assistant instructor. In addition to karate I have a background in olympic wrestling and combat hapkido.
