PROJECTS- Development of a CRM system for an ISP company (initially written in PHP/Symfony). The system is used to manage clients and their subscriptions, view business and diagnostic metrics, manage customer and company hardware, and provide REST APIs for B2C web and mobile applications.- Development of a mobile web application for network engineers, responsible for installation and maintenance of clients’ equipment (C#/ASP.NET Core). The app removed the need for printing tickets on paper and enabled them to more quickly address issues raised by clients. Moreover, using the app, the engineers could access critical information about the company’s network equipment without contacting system administrators. This app was also used to evaluate the viability of transitioning from PHP to C#/ASP.NET Core.- A rewrite of the CRM from PHP to C#/ASP.NET Core using modern software design principles (design patterns, SOLID principles, automated testing, CQRS architecture) - not finished.RESPONSIBILITIES- Continuous support and improvement of the CRM- Consulting on the integration of the CRM with network equipment and third-party services- Driving the development of new features and modules from idea to a full-scale release- Providing data analytics about our clients- Mitigating hardware or software failures- Mentoring a newly hired internCHALLENGES- For the most of my time at the company, I was the only developer working on the CRM system. This taught me to prioritize the most important tasks without consulting management. I also learned how to collect technical requirements from department managers and the company’s leadership.- Dealing with legacy code and systems, some of which were closed-source and couldn't be changed directly, taught me creative ways to solve tasks.
