Our team stands as a connection between external game development studios and internal tools, processes and teams. As a team lead I am responsible for people management, team internal processes and communication with key stakeholders.We started in November 2016 as a team of 3 technical coordinators and one configuration engineer. By September 2019 team grew to 7 coordinators and 3 engineers, so it was decided to split them into individual teams. Now I have a team of 13 technical coordinators and we are looking for further changes to the team structure to improve the service quality for our studios.As a team we have doubled the number of games released through our team from 2019 to 2020 and expect to double again in 2021. I joined Derivco Estonia as a project manager for one of the internal products. On my role I made some improvements that allowed better service deliver for internal customers. First of all, shared excel file for job requests was replaced with online sharepoint forms. This change allowed uninterrupted updates, prevented issues of file locks and input data quality issues by setting data validation rules in the fields.

My main responsibilities remained the same as project manager, but I was also looking after and helping other project managers in the same domain to deal with their daily tasks and issues.

As a Project manager I was responsible for the whole localization cycle of my projects - from planning to release. We were doing the localization of a large software project into 16 languages. This work included software and documentation engineering, translation, quality assurance and release. My daily tasks were to communicate with project stakeholders, functional teams to make sure that we are on track, update the budget spending and estimation and ensure timely delivery.
