I am a full-stack marketing and communications professional with a creative, fun, and artistic approach to work. As a textbook generalist, I have worked in a wide range of roles across various fields, from contemporary arts to craft beer and sports. Most of my roles have centered around marketing and communications, but I am also experienced in event and project management, as well as brand and business development. My background in arts and culture reflects on everything I do. I follow trends closely and love making niche things I believe in more popular. Most notably, though, I make stuff happen and have the track record to prove it.In communications, I tend to focus on clarity, simplicity, accessibility, reliability, and visuality. I aim to communicate the experience — how something feels. Instagram is my strongest communications channel. As a marketer I tend to focus on digital, but also utilize a lot of events, as well as various kinds of experiences and collaborations. I enjoy working in organizations that are in a pivotal point. I love taking things to the next level by creating new audiences, concepts and business. Because of my wide experience and general interests, I understand and can relate to the needs and desires of very different types of customers. Understanding what people want or will want is one of my key strengths. I have graduated from one of the best design schools in the world (UAL Central Saint Martins). In my MA thesis I studied the creative class, especially those who engage with the arts on a regular basis, suggesting different methods how especially film festivals could improve marketing and programming directed towards creatives. To reach these conclusions I applied service design thinking into studying ways how other sectors (politics, NGOs, sports) deepen relationships with their stakeholders.Email me at: aleksisaikkonen@gmail.com

The brewery is located in Viikki, in a unique 1,500m² glass building that was formerly a greenhouse, known as Gardenia.During my time at CoolHead, we grew from a small team of craft beer enthusiasts into a brand and venue known throughout Europe.
