I enjoy analyzing and synthesizing complex, contradictory data, concepts, and opinions into actionable decisions. I have a broad knowledge of trends and patterns especially within the software and technology sectors. I am an exceptional communicator with proven expertise in nurturing software and technology companies. My style has been called engaging, inspiring, and, some would say, I have a natural ability to explain complexity simply, and connect with diverse audiences and mindsets.Despite the ‘battle scars,’ I remains humble and open. I love nothing more than helping others to grow and succeed. I am directly involved at an executive and board level to keep me fresh and honest.My career began pursuing a childhood dream to serve as a Royal Air Force helicopter pilot, and officer, flying in operations in the UK, Northern Ireland, Falklands, Hong Kong, and 24/7 Search and Rescue. Over a coffee or a beer, ask me about a door hitting the tail rotor over a combat zone, putting a generator on the top of a skyscraper in Hong Kong, or landing on a frigate at night off the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic.Unquestionably, the acute challenges from my veteran flying experiences in my formative years have honed my clarity of thinking, acute problem solving, and delivery-oriented approach.As a tennis fanatic, I started a tennis innovation company in 2018 that is currently being restructured. And last year, I formed SKELA that is dedicated to help CEOs, owners, and entrepreneurs thrive in the M&A process.
