I run Quest Events, where we create bespoke B2B conference and exhibitions that are focused on the issues and opportunities that keep business leaders up at night. By bringing together carefully curated speakers, we help them with the inspiration and information they need to better lead their organisations.Our events cover a broad range of industries, with a fous on areas that are undergoing signficant change, including the transition to net zero and emerging technology.We pride ourselves on having excellent content and facilitating valuable networking for our attendees and sponsors.In 2021, I co-founded BetterCast, an EventTech start-up that bridges the gap between virtual and live events. I helped shape the company's vision, go-to-market strategy, and acted as a COO. I left in mid 2022 before it closed in mid 2023.I spend my spare time trail running, cycling, skiing, playing football, golf, surfing and cooking.

Born in the depths of COVID-19 lockdowns, BetterCast was an EventTech start-up, designed to bridge the gap between virtual and live events as virtual quickly became ubiquitous.I joined BetterCast when the product was in an early beta phase, and helped define the vision, set the go-to-market strategy (and then change it multiple times), as well as providing insights into the events industry.I acted in a “Chief Operating Officer” role, which involved a mix of BizOps, strategy, CX, tech support… whatever was needed to help move things forward. This included establishing the HR systems and processes for managing a fully-remote global team, including communication, payments and developing a cohesive team culture.Bettercast set itself apart with:- low latency and HD streaming (built on MUX)- live cloud recording (so you can watch on-demand within minutes)- innovative "tv guide" style agenda- NFT ticketing- live support- competitive pricingI left BetterCast in August 2022 and BetterCast was sold to VEE Agency in 2023.

At Meltwater I worked in the client acquisition team, selling their SaaS media monitoring software. I ran sales processes from prospecting right through to on-boarding. It was an invaluable learning experience that gave me insights into sales processes and taught me how to better influence outcomes in a variety of commercial scenarios.
