I am a dedicated public health officer and a registered Cameroonian medical doctor with over six years of experience in improving community health outcomes. My career is marked by my commitment to health education, disease prevention and control, and policy advocacy in fragile settings. As highlight, I have worked as a general practitioner for a primary care facility in a community affected by sociopolitical crisis, and as a public health officer at a district health service. My expertise spans infectious disease control, maternal and child health, and chronic disease prevention. I have been instrumental in developing and implementing public health programs that have significantly reduced the incidence of communicable diseases in underserved communities.I am also actively involved in community outreach programs, where health education and resources are provided to vulnerable populations. Driven by my passion for improving the health of communities I have volunteered on several community outreach projects centered around disease screening and encouraging healthy behaviors, and prompt health seeking habits.I am a passionate researcher who appreciates the role of research in advancing health knowledge for the good of the society. I have worked on five medical research studies and published in a peer-reviewed journal. My research work spans HIV test uptake, adoption of digital One Health, acceptance of RTS,S malaria vaccine (mosquirix) among caregivers of children under five, management of sepsis in children under five years, and outcomes of trial of labor after caesarean delivery.I work efficiently under pressure, I am competent in data analysis and proficient in using statistical software such as SPSS, R, or Excel, and I possess strong communication and leadership skills. Additionally, I am committed to expanding my knowledge and have completed multiple trainings in humanitarian competence and public health emergency response.
