About Alen Jakupovic

My professional career has been a unique dichotomy.On one end, I've supported national and international businesses grow via for-profit account management roles, while on the other, I've supported small businesses on their sustainability journeys and developed the next generation of sustainability leaders via leadership roles in a small sustainability-focused nonprofit. These "opposite" experiences have given me a dynamic set of aptitudes.My 7 years of account management have taught me how important it is to curate every conversation, every email, every meeting, and every product suite precisely to client needs and missions. These experiences enhanced interpersonal skills like listening, objection handling, stakeholder engagement, pitching, and presenting. These also provided expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and demonstrated sales best practices.Working for GreenLight Solutions developed organization-wide expertise, such as policy and procedure development, volunteer management and training, strategy and goal setting (including KPI/metric development), process improvement, and strategic partnership acquisition, for a team of 5-10 annually. But more excitingly, my experience in GreenLight Solutions has allowed me to contribute toward a greener more sustainable world.I now strive to have everything I do contribute toward a greener more sustainable world, particularly in the carbon industry.
