Project Coordinator
CurrentActively coordinate and supervise overall production for the family owned company engaged in exporting seafood to the United States. Expertly develop and maintain client-business relations, and coordinate teams for special projects.• Oversee operations in multiple departments for the company employing over 450 staff members.• Manage processing operations and oversee crabmeat and shrimp product receipts twice daily.• Prospect new clients, promoting products and services, and effectively negotiate/close lucrative deals.• Verify through observation that all products are fresh, oversee the boiling process and direct procedures within picking procedures to ensure all meat products are free from small bones and foreign objects/particles.• Ensure meat is properly divided into specific containers and sealed in accordance with quality/safety standards.• Verify products are stored under proper refrigerated conditions until packed and shipped to the US.• Direct activities and tasks of administrative and payroll personnel, coaching and evaluating performance.• Coordinate all graphic design requirements for the brand, including website and packaging development. • Currently playing a key role in obtaining a major client in the Northeast US and developing a value-added line.
