Alesha is also the program coordinator and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Computer Aided Design Drafting Technology Program at Idaho State Universities' College of Technology. She is also a Certified Aging In Place Specialist with experience in Residential and Commercial Interior Design. Alesha designed and instructs in the ATMAE accredited Computer Aided Design Drafting Associates degree program. Program subjects include residential design, commercial drafting, BIM, drafting theory, mechanical and structural drafting technology. She has over ten years of practical, hands on experience in the design industry providing consulting services in interior design for the residential and commercial sectors. She has achieved the Certified Drafter designation through the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) and is Certified in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD.She has written and published a book about Aging in Place home adaptations to create a safe & comfortable home for now and for the future. She has a Master's Degree in Human Resource Training and Development, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Consumer Economics, and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Design Drafting, all from Idaho State University. She is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist through the NAHB and has completed training in NKBA Kitchen and Bath Design and Continuing Education in a variety of design subjects.
