Senior Instructional Aide
CurrentSr. Instructional Aides implement 1:1 Behavioral Intervention and Adaptive Skills programs to children in their homes and serve as instructional shadows in school settings. Utilizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) techniquesManagement of maladaptive behaviors, Independent living skills, community integration, social skills development, and data collection techniques as deemed appropriate for the individually tailored program being provided.Support students with special needs in academic settings by providing 1-on-1 support directly to that student.Instructional Aides implement 1:1 Behavioral Intervention and Adaptive Skills programs to children in their homes and serve as instructional shadows in school settings. Support students with special needs in academic settings by providing 1-on-1 support directly to that student.Conducts Monthly Data Summaries based on data collected during discreet trials to monitor progression and to make adjustments accordingly.Ensures the accuracy of work by identifying and correcting errors made by other instructional aide, and reporting back to the Case Supervisor.
