Professional trainer, developing, coordinating, and delivering training within Health and Safety field in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, such as Manual Handling and Food Safety/HACCP, plus several e-learning courses available (in English).Holding a wide background in postdoctoral positions in Medicinal Chemistry within AIDS, Cancer and Vaccines field, and as a researcher I was responsible for designing, synthesizing and characterizing novel potential (bio)-chemical compounds resulting in a track record of academic accomplishments in the form of peer-reviewed publications in reputable Organic/Medicinal Chemistry Journal, as well as communication in several International Conferences. With more than 15 years in academia field, I mentored and motivated Ph.D. and graduate students to accomplish project goals, providing training and guidance in terms of work ethic, laboratory techniques, good laboratory practice, and monitoring daily work complying with Health and Safety guidelines. I am passionate about training, learning, and development, thriving on guiding students throughout their learning path within health and safety field. After becoming a mom of my first child, my desire about having work-life flexibility and being able to also home-school my children, gave me the strength to start my own business. Taking into consideration my extensive experience in academia, a wide background within the Health and Safety field, and also fluency in Spanish and Portuguese, Skill Ireland Training was designed to deliver affordable Health and Safety courses focusing on those in which English is not their first language, adhering to quality standards and meeting the customer’s needs.From an Exchange Student in Spain to a Post-Doctoral Medicinal Chemistry Researcher, Trainer, Entrepreneur and Home-school mom of 3 precious boys, I am passionate about teaching, training, learning and development, thriving on guiding students throughout their learning path.
