I am a highly motivated young researcher with the goal of specialising in the design and synthesis of organic molecules for various applications. I graduated in pharmaceutical chemistry. Due this I have acquired knowledge both in pharmacology, toxicology, medicinal chemistry and in inorganic, organic chemistry, especially in organic synthesis and retrosynthesis, with the ability to design and improve new synthetic routes. After my graduation I carried out a 6 months internship at IQAC-CSIC in Barcelona where I worked with enantioselective, organometallics and cross-metathesis reactions. The goal of my work was the synthesis of a probe capable of picking up acid ceramidase activity.Currently, I am a PhD student in chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences at University of Siena. Specifically, I carry out my research at CNR-ICCOM in Florence where I work on the synthesis of Organic Dyes for application in DS-PEC.
