The aim of my work regards the simulation of the compression of cellular aggregates between parallel planes, in order to evaluate the compression force that is exerted on them and the distribution of internal stress. In particular, I evaluated the differences between elastic models and elasto-plastic models. Moreover, I analysed the presence or absence of an elastic return at the end of compression. For these analysis, I used The Ansys Mhecanical ADPL software. I observed that the compressive strength depends on the type of material and on the compression suffered. Instead, in the plastic materials it also depends on the yield stress. For small deformations the all materials have the same response to the compression and increasing the compression the materials give different answers.

I did an internship at the San Giovanni Bosco Hospital, in the Clinical Engineering department. For the analysis I used the software of the Poliedra company, doing activities of inventory, checking all the medical device present in the hospital and any anomalies regarding the location and the piece.In addition I cataloged the stock assets and I performed the realignment of the database in use at the hospital and that one in use at the regional level.I did the tests to build the discharge curve of an orthopedic drill, I evaluated the charging time, the number of activations, the self-discharge and any problems of overheating of the battery
