Lead and manage Engineering organization of a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant for injectable products, as member of the Site Leadership Team.Main responsibilities:- Responsible for performance management and professional development of direct and indirect reports (16 total reports) of the key engineering functions of the site: Maintenance Department, Plant Engineering, Automation and Calibration.- Provides management oversight to ensure that Facilities, Utilities and Equipment are properly maintained, fit for intended use, operated in safety and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Provides management oversight of major maintenance activities including scheduled plant shutdowns. Ensure support to production for fast resolution to operational issues and guarantee business continuity.- Accountable for development of technical subject matter expertise to ensure system reliability/robustness and support for deviations, CAPAs and change control.- Accountable for Site continuous improvement, leading implementations for problem solving, technology upgrades and digital transformation. - Site representative leader for Filling Process of the global program “Factory of the Future”- Lead planning and execution of the site CAPEX projects and equipment lifecycle.- Support constantly Qualification and Validation department during all the projects lifecycle and for routine activities.- Responsible of the Site Engineering Opex budget- Accountable of the site performance and strategy for long range capacity plan of the site, as part of the local Senior Leadership Team- Support, as engineering accountable, external and internal audits

Responsible of a complete syringe line as coordinator of a cross-functional task-force team (production specialist, reliability engineer, automation engineer and maintenance technicians), with the aim to ensure business continuity of the line for commercial batches manufacturing, managing troubleshooting, improvement implementations (managing both OPEX and CAPEX budget allocation) and supporting change control and root cause analysis. The job includes accountability/reporting of the activity progress to the upper management and escalation in case of critical situations.

- Lead Engineering Projects from the Investment proposal to the execution phase and final handover, asresponsible of the budget management and coordination of internal and external resources.During this period several types of Projects have been carried out: Installation of new equipment in an already operative filling line, as part of a new Product Tech Transfer / Implementation of a new Viable Air Sampling / System in Grade A, as part of an FDA commitment / Decommissioning of an obsolete aseptic department, including dismantling, civil works and further refurbishment for new utilization / Exit strategy of a whole building dedicated to Operation, planning all decommissioning activities, including equipment, utilities, automation systems and managing new building design.- Lead periodical Maintenance/Engineering shutdown: responsible of the scheduling of all the activities, fulfilling constrains coming from Supply Chain requirements for restart of the business, Quality requirements and Production needs.- Support technical improvements in Aseptic Operation Segment.

- Lead Projects for technical improvements in Aseptic Operation Segment, managing Capital Budget and coordinating internal and external resources- Manage all technical activities required to improve performance and reliability of the equipment. - Manage technical documentation, keeping it in compliance with GMP, updated and available.The technical experience has been increased mainly reaching a strong specialization on filling lines, withparticular focus on both open RABS and Isolator technology.- Manage Capital Appropriation Requests and related Projects for equipment purchase, installation andqualification.- Collaborate with production and QA for deviations, change control and CAPA management for process and equipment related activities.
