Managed multi-disciplined team in 4 geographical regions responsible for defining primary airframe structure (fuselage & tail), kits, customization, landing gear & fixed flight control detailed design, analysis and certification.

Structural test and technology laboratories in Italy, UK and Poland, providing testing capability and material/process consultancy to all company design departments.-Managed the creation and implementation of two major renewal investment projects resulting in the increase of capability to support testing activities needed during multiple project parallel certification. -Performed over 200 different tests to support qualification testing of both AW189 (twin engine, medium lift) and AW169 (twin engine, 10 seater) helicopter programmes.-Improved the approach to test design ensuring agreed timescales were met and the release of technical data and appropriate resources made available for planned tasks. -Reorganised and rationalised the Structural Test & Technology Laboratories spread across several geographical locations taking the opportunity to build global synergies.

Initially started as a Structure Stress Engineer rapidly being promoted to senior level roles specializing in landing gear. Became Head of Structure Design & Development at the Brindisi Plant in 2006, a centre of excellence for airframe structure. Designed more than 20 different helicopter customisations per year, modernised departments, developed new fully integrated design teams and managed more than 50 technical/professional staff, including subcontractors.
