Senior Mechatronic Engineer
CurrentR&D of powertrain systems for Hybrid & Electric Vehicles (inverter, DC-DC converter, power module, ECU, E-motors, E-axles) starting from analysis of customer requirements to delivery of final products.I gained experience in design of die casting, plastic injection and metal comoulded components, sheet metal, conductor, HV and LV connectors, cables and wires, gaskets, cooling systems, thermal pads, resins, glues and other parts.In recent years I lead and supervise a team of 2-3 designers and engineers who deal with the following activities: • Developing of innovative projects in collaboration with the relevant departments (HW, Layout, Quality, systems) through design reviews. • Supporting Process Engineering Division during design and implementation of the back-end production line. • Contacting external suppliers to negotiate the offer and supervise the different production phases of each designed device. • Managing of project documentation (3D models, 2D drawings, GD&T, WCA, technical specifications, assembly instructions, FMEA, BOMs) with CAD, spreadsheets and PLM software. • Follow prototypes assembly and systems qualifications and validations during DV and PV phases. • Test developing and data analysis.Quality, Reliability, Performance, Design to Cost, for Manufacturing and for Assembly are cornerstones of this development method and have become part of my personal way of work.
