Senior Design Engineer, Design and Development Engineering Department.Fuel System Project Leader.Main activities:- Fuel system performance analysis; - CFD analysis, stress analysis;- design and development of civil / military aircraft and rotorcraft fuel system equipment (i.e. check valves, vent and pressure relief valves, drain valves, jet pumps, fuel booster and fuel transfer pumps, motor operated / solenoid operated shut-off valves, fuel level gauging probes and high/low level sensors);- collaboration to design / development and certification to SW and Airborne Electronic Hardware following RTCA/DO-178 and RTCA/DO-254 standards (fuel monitoring electronic units and panels for pressure refueling and defueling operations on ground);- fuel system equipment manufacturing, final assembling and acceptance test activities technical support;- component / bought out items procurement technical support;- technical support for internal processes aimed at guaranteeing product quality;- program management and risk analysis activities;- product and/or fuel system technical proposal preparation and release;- research activities aimed to apply new technologies and/or innovative products in aeronautics;- collaboration to qualification phase following civil / military specifications (e.g. RTCA/DO-160) and according to the applicable certification basis (e.g.: CS-23/FAR-23, CS-25/FAR-25, CS-29/FAR-29);- mediating and dealing with customers.

Design of the fuel delivery subsystem of a civil twin engine aircraft constituted by two jet pumps and one centrifugal DC booster pump. Fuel delivery subsystem performance analysis at all altitudes, temperatures and engine settings in order to keep the engines running within their normal operating parameters.
