From a young age, I was immersed in an international and multicultural environment. My father, who was from South Italy (Puglia), and my mother, who hailed from Austria, met in Vienna when my father decided to drive there to watch an Italian national football match. I was born in Rome and spent my childhood in Belgium.Throughout my university studies, I developed a passion for marketing and commercial business development. I have dedicated my career to startups, launching new businesses in Italy and abroad, including ventures in Germany, France, Spain, Austria, and Brazil, specifically within the email and internet marketing and mobile VAS sectors.In 2007, I joined Admiral Group plc, where I played a pivotal role in launching our Italian venture as the Marketing Director. I created and launched the insurance brand ConTe.it, which has since become a leading name in the Italian market.After a decade in that role, I transitioned to establishing and managing an incubator within Admiral Group, designed to test new products and business lines in Italy. Using a "test & learn" approach, we launched nine new white-label products under the ConTe.it brand over two years, validating their commercial traction. This led to the internalization of the ConTe Cane e Gatto (pet) policy and the founding of ConTe Prestiti, a financial intermediary authorized by the Bank of Italy, which commenced operations in July 2022. Today, I proudly serve as its Executive Chairman.In addition to my work at Admiral, I am a business angel, investing in 13 startups across the UK, Canada, and Italy. This aligns with my passion for innovation, marketing, commercial business development, and networking.
