Main Responsibilities:• Collaborate with the CEO to achieve the general and profit goals;• Provide guidelines for continuous improvement and development of the organization;• Direct and coordinate administrative, financial, reporting, budgeting activities and processes for all Group Companies; define Funding and Risk Management policies; manage relations with banks, financial institutions and consultants; maintain relations with external auditors;• Member of Organismo di Vigilanza (ex Dlgs 231) of all Group Companies;• Extraordinary transactions (e.g. M&A activities): being an active part in proposing and finalizing the transactions; lead the internal team, interact with counterparties and consultants.

Reporting to the Chairman, leading a team of ten people, the position is accountable for the administrative, financial, IT and risk management operations of the company. Principal accountabilities are:• Planning: assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives; monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans; develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction;• Operations: participate in key decisions as a member of the steering committee; manage the accounting, tax, treasury and IT departments; oversee the financial operations of subsidiaries companies and foreign operations; • Financial and non-financial Information: oversee the issuance of financial information; report financial results to the board of directors; prepare and report KPI to members of the executive management team;• Risk Management: maintain appropriate insurance coverage; monitor all open legal issues involving the company; maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations;• Funding: monitor cash balances and cash forecasts; arrange for debt financing; maintain banking relationships.

Responsible for: monthly consolidated reporting to CEO/owner and management team, statutory books, annual consolidated financial statements, tax requirement fulfilling, annual budget, quarterly forecast, profitability analysis for support to strategic decision, cash-flow managing and all financial activity including banks negotiation, control on financial management of foreign subsidiaries.This position reports to CEO/Owner and has nine people reporting to it.

Responsible for: cash-flow managing and liasing with company bankers and investors maintaining positive, long-term working relationships; negotiating loan or overdraft terms with company bankers; forecasting cash payments; undertaking risk management activities, preparing financial reports for management.Other tasks were: develop policies and procedures for A/R collections and extension of credit to customers; report monthly on debtor status; oversee monthly Inter-company reconciliation; work independently on A/R projects.Member of Safilo’s refinancing team (2002); Project leader of Safilo’s AR ABS Securitisation Program (2003) and member of Safilo’s IPO working group (2005).

Main responsibilities: analysis of financial records to forecast future financial position and budget requirements; evaluation of needs for procurement of funds and investment of surplus, preparation of financial reports for management.Other duties assigned: management of a IFCS company (Dublin – Ireland); study, implementation and management of the European Cash Pooling System

Main activities: execution of financial audits throughout group subsidiaries (14 worldwide); coordination with external auditors; analysis of business processes or organizational problems and recommend solutions.
