In the last 20 years I’ve had the chance to work in Supply Chain, in its three main pillars, i.e. Procurement, Logistics and Materials Management.Since 2004 I have been working in multinational companies in the Energy/Oil & Gas business, starting as a buyer and then covering other roles like Procurement Manager and Logistics & Materials Manager with EU and extra-EU area responsibility.Now I’m the Purchasing and IT Director in a company working in Infrastructure/Construction works with global coverage.I’ve worked in 5 different cities in Italy, travelling abroad on a monthly basis: this has given me the opportunity to grow up professionally speaking.I do consider myself as a trustable and professional person believing in:- business ethics, generally inescapable especially within the strategic and responsive function like the Procurement or Supply Chain one;- collaboration, within the team and with all the other company functions;- Setting up targets in the short/medium/long term and have them carried out by shared individual actions to be checked constantly in the time;- constant communication, sometimes demanding to keep in the time but surely necessary to get clarity of intentions and commonality of efforts;- Efficiency, Effectiveness and Elegance as guides to be applied to every business activity.I have attended several courses aimed at learning strategic dialogue, problem solving and strategic coaching, all soft skills that I wished to develop in order to improve not only myself, but also the team work and my collaborators.
