From 2012 to 2020, he cooperated with Politecnico of Milan for some lessons and seminars related to Electric Power Systems courses (Energy Department, Electrical Engineering Faculty).Member of The Milan Order of Engineers.Member of CEI (Italian standardization body for electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunications).

He deals with projects on CCGT power plants, LNG, windfarms, photovoltaic plants, storage systems, hydropower plants, high voltage substations, high voltage underground cable lines, HVDC systems, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, metering.His special interests include design criteria definition and survey of electrical, automation and instrumental engineering, grid studies, analysis of cost-effective solutions, optimizing construction time and schedules, as well as risk management approaches for decision-making in all aspects relevant to electric power systems.He coordinates the hydro power plant interdisciplinary engineering working group.He conceived and coordinated design, manufacturing, construction and commissioning of the first Italian merchant line based on phase shifting transformer technology (160 MW bi-directional Italy to Switzerland connection realised in 2009).
