ITV News is the branding of news programmes on the British television network ITV. ITV has a long tradition of television news. Independent Television News was founded to provide news bulletins for the network in 1955, and has since continued to produce all news programmes on ITV.• Film and edit high-quality video content with a focus on creating news packages • Perform post-production work, such as editing, motion graphics, color correction and audio adjustments ensuring the video retains the mood, style, and delivery as specified.• Revise and improve the content on an ongoing basis.• Engage in creative problem solving.• Developing visual storytelling across multiple platforms to support ITV communication objectives and audio visual needs.• Recording and editing video and sound projects, selecting formats for final outputs, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-overs, and archiving media projects.• Collaborating closely with the correspondent and producers to plan video shoots, scouting, selecting, and reserve shoot locations.• Transporting, setting up, and operating various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production;• Preparing the necessary equipment and workflows allowing for streaming for a variety of internet uses and formats.• Editing provided footages and interviews into a variety of video deliverables intended for broadcast, web, social media outlets, and ITN’s clients.• Maintaining equipment inventory, and assessing technical needs, while researching new equipment, trends, and techniques supporting further development of audio visual production.• Organization of all video assets, including templates, projects, raw footage, rendered videos, and voiceover files.
