As part of a 3-month apprenticeship under the supervision of senior leadership, I take on both technical and team leadership responsibilities in an agile software development environment.Key Responsibilities:- Hands-on development: Actively contribute to the project by writing code, implementing features, and resolving bugs.- Team leadership: Collaborate with the team to break down projects into smaller, manageable tasks.- Task management: Assign tasks to the appropriate developers based on their strengths and expertise.- Blocker resolution: Identify and eliminate roadblocks that could hinder progress to keep the team on track.- Agile work environment: Support and foster an agile workflow, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery of tasks.- Skill growth: Develop both technical and leadership skills through practical experience, feedback from the team, and mentorship from senior management.

Beginning 2023 I went from salesperson to web developer, with my newly acquired software development skills. I built the company's online presence by building the website and blog swimmingpools.mu using WordPress for the back- and frontend and Cpanel for all configurations.I am also building a program that will be used to automate certain repetitive tasks in the pool industry, for the company.This part-time job allows me to practice my software development skills and finish my studies to prepare for a full time software engineering role that I am currently persuing.

My great interpersonal skills, combined with my emotional intelligence and strong negotiation skills, allowed me to work for the family business, selling our products both on-site and online.I sometimes handled hundreds of messages and 50 calls in a day in Dutch, French and English.This experience made me into a hard worker that can handle stress and fast-paced environments with great interpersonal skills.
