Responsible for the management and strategy of the laboratory, which performs research in the development of lightweight structures, or relevant knowledge regarding it, centered on composite materials and advanced joining methods for metallic materials. This laboratory is focused in the follow industrial sectors: aerospace industry, automotive and petroleum & gas.

Currently I’m working as a materials science researcher at the Lightweight Structures Laboratory (LEL) from IPT, in the research team.The main focus of these researches is to help the companies in the structuring, management and conducting R&D&I projects related to thermoplastics materials, composites structures, as well as hybrid structures with metallics and/or ceramics parts. Material’s coordinator for Flexibrás Tubos Flexíveis Ltda. (TECHNIP Group) in charge ofthe qualification, research and development of polymeric materials, applied in the flexible pipes manufacturing for oil and gas production.- Specialist in polymers of TECHNIP group in Brazil;- R&D of news thermoplastics materials to the subsea segment;- Elaborate and follow the qualification process of the materials, as well as the necessary tests;- Contact with nationals and internationals laboratories to perform the tests;- Contact with universities to establish partnership in new development materials;- Establish cooperation with nationals and internationals universities to the new projects for the TECHNIP group.
