Starting from July 2014, I was assigned the role of Software Asset Management Specialist.My new responsibilities are related to software licenses for Aviva in Italy, both client and server, and aim to:- Reduce software costs- Limiting the risks of using it- Maximize user productivityThe tools and methodologies that I usually use to pursue these objectives are:- Software Inventory- License Manager- Software Metering- Application Control- Software Deployment- Patch Management- Request Management- Product CatalogAs part of SAM, is my responsibility also manage the life cycle of the software, which is developed according to the different phases:- Purchasing- Installation and use- Management (maintenance and support, redistribution, updating, monitoring, compliance maintenance)- DisposingOther activities of daily conduct include:- Frequent inventories - Needs Analysis Software- Census and organization of license entitlements- Cost control- Mitigation of Risks- Software mapping- Generation and publication of surveys related to the use of the software

Protection, monitoring and prevention of loss of personal and / or highly confidential data using specific Data Loss Prevention tools.Direct report to the CISO to support the definition of the actions to be taken following the analysis of the evidence gathered.Interfacing with the internal control functions (Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance) and with the DPO.Direct collaboration with Business representatives in the redefinition of their policies, alarm thresholds and processes related to Data Loss Prevention.Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) ensuring confidentiality, discretion and reliability.

Cost Management and Control Activities in relation to client and business software licenses.Software contracts verification activities to support procurement team.
