Graduated in Genetics and Molecular Biology, I did an internship focused on the study of the immune response in melanomas: I studied the role of Romidepsin and IFN-gamma combined treatment in the PD1/PD-L1 axis. I subsequently earned a PhD in Human Biology studying cell replication structures and their role in maintaining genomic stability. Particularly I studied WRN protein, its interaction with RPA, and its different interactome in MSI vs MSS colon cancer. Actually my work as post-doc researcher is focused on the role of oncosuppressor miRNAs in the context of melanoma: miRNAs as predictive biomarkers of immune response and as therapeutic adjuvants through the use of LNPs.
