Experience, creativity, rigour, and curiosity are ingredients for a Building Service Mechanical Design Engineer.I am Alessandro and I can offer a good mix of them. My studies gave me high-level scientific instruments that permit me to acquire technical tools and apply them proficiently. My work experience taught me that before starting a project you have to ask yourself “why”.I have a knowledge of European and international standards, applied to building services for mainly iconic buildings.I am a big fan of tools as Revit that I use: for documentation, so to be able to create a consistent set of drawings; for integration of disciplines, using the BIM properties offered; and for analysis, energy simulation, load calculation and check of the design.Having had on site experience, as well as concept design experience, I can carry out a project from the idea to the commissioning for Mechanical plants, understanding structural and architectural design and giving support on Electrical LV system.I have been involved on large projects for several years, enjoying team working, organizing the workload between the resources, and leading the team in critical situations.Continuous improvement is necessary for me, to keep my mind active, and to deliver always a high-level product. I believe in supporting younger colleagues, creating a collaborative environment, taking time to listen to them, and helping them.
