After three years spent on the field as a lean consultant and coach, in January 2018 I started to manage a small firm specializing in interior design for contemporary homes. Almax is a leading manufacturer of mannequins and display forms. My goal was to design a Lean Production System for the Chinese plant. The new system was approved by the top manager and its implementation will follow.• Identified the product families and analyzed the demand pattern• Created the Current State Map.• Designed the new production system.• Performed time-motion studies, balanced the work intra and inter process and defined all the improvement required.• Defined the Implementation approach.• Led meetings with managers and operators to solve production issues.
