- Development of chromatography-based (LC-MS, SFC-MS) analytical platforms for the targeted detection and quantification of oxylipins lipid mediators involved in inflammatory processes.- Validation of the developed methods and application to large clinical sample cohorts to investigate underlying biological processes and discover potential biomarkers, with focus on inflammatory and respiratory diseases.- Management of several LC-MS based clinical biomarker projects in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies and research institutions.- Development of LC-MS based analytical platforms for small molecules in collaboration with other research groups to address various biological questions.- Data analysis and communication of the results to collaborators with different scientific backgrounds.
