Member of the strategic board of the company, involved in strategic decision regarding research and development of new products, production sites and technology, quality and regulatory compliance, definition of marketing strategies and communication. Main Responsibilities:• Planning and scheduling R&D and Production activities, from the idea of the product, to the production on large scale;• Product Labelling (instructions for use, health claims, ingredients, warnings and graphic design);• Maintaining of a high productivity, quality and efficiency of the production department;• Maintaining of a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001: 2015 standards and based on the Lean approach;• Marketing strategy (communication and scientific materials for sales force);• Drafting and implementation of technical documentation (Quality and technical agreements,SOP) and regulatory documentation (dossier for food supplements);• Maintaining relations with Competent Authorities; • Auditing at manufacturing production sites;• Quality control and product release on the market (declaration of conformity);• Development and leadership of a team formed of 12 members (R&D, RegulatoryAffairs, Quality assurance and Production site).

Working closely with the R&D and Marketing department for the new product development, Planning and scheduling production activities for high quality food supplements, coordinates RA and QA activities.Report directly to the CEO and contribute in defining company direction. Main responsibilities:- guarantee efficiency and high quality standards in the production of food and food supplements;- define activities and responsibilities within a team of 9 people, developing and increasing the knowledge of each one based on their predispositions;- PDCA approach and quality management system based on ISO 9001: 2015;- Lean approach to all activities of production and management of logistics activities;- coordinate the RA and QA departments for the definition of technical documents, labeling and SOP.I work a lot on the Empowerment process, trying to maximize the qualities and characteristics of each colleague in the sector that is most suited to them.Empowerment process, PDCA and Lean Management approach, are all excellent tools that, if used correctly, can bring great motivation within the team and great satisfaction for reaching ambitious targets in terms of quality and quantity; all within a healthy and collaborative environment.

Refer directly to the GM and CEO, member of the strategic board of thecompany.Main Responsibilities• Planning and scheduling R&D and Marketing activities for the launch of new products on the market;• Product Labelling (instructions for use, health claims, ingredients, warnings and graphic design);• Marketing strategy (communication and scientific materials for sales force);• Drafting and implementation of technical documentation (Quality and technical agreements,SOP) and regulatory documentation (Technical File, PIF and dossier for food supplements);• Registrations of products (MD, Cosmetics and Food Supplements);• CE marking and MD certification;• Maintaining relations with Competent Authorities and Notified Body;• Auditing at manufacturing production sites;• Quality control and product release on the market (declaration of conformity);• Development and leadership of a team initially formed of 5 members (Marketing, R&D, RegulatoryAffairs) and expanded to 15 members.I work a lot on good comunication and sharing information between colleagues; to make the most of a resource, it is essential to know how to listen to and to create the right environment in which each element feels important and appreciated for his/her contribution. My priority is to create a work environment where colleagues are happy to work in and give their best for the team.

Working on protein purification and protein crystallization. Main activities:- cloning of genes in E. coli BL 21 for purification of recombinant proteins;- production of recombinant proteins by fermentation process;- protein purification through chromatography techniques (affinity, ion exchange, SEC) to obtain a high purity protein (> 95%);- crystallization techniques of the pure protein or in complex with competitive or allosteric inhibitors;- measurement of X-ray diffraction data for the study of molecular structure;- data analysis through CCP4+ calculation software and analysis of the model through graphic simulation software (Coot and PyMol).At the end of the PhD program, my team was able to publish an article on new hypotheses of regulation of the protein of interest and a second publication concerning a potential drug crystallized inside the protein (at very high resolution!).
