Responsible for the support of the retail accounting functions, to include, weekly review of POS activity, store bank account & credit card reconciliations, and clarification and resolution of issue with store management and/or banks as appropriate.Activities & responsibilities:-Review sales activity for assigned retail locations-Reconcile daily cash deposit and credit card statements from merchant services-Investigate over/short discrepancies on a daily basis-Review and dispute retrieval/chargeback notifications on a daily basis-Research and provide support documentation for state and local audits-Manage, archive and monitor the stores' documentation-Maintain good working relationships with stores to facilitate good communications regarding store level procedures.
