I worked for GE Power after the acquisition of Alstom Power business in 2015. My responsibilities in this role stretched between the analytical and numerical modelling of the thermoacoustic response of annular and can-annular engines, and hands-on measurements of burner flame transfer functions and damper performance in atmospheric labs.I was also coordinating a technology project aimed at developing combustion dynamics mitigations from conceptual phase to full-scale high-pressure tests.

As a research engineer on new combustor technologies, I focused on fuel flexibility and control of combustion dynamics:- I developed a new forced flashback test procedure for gas turbine burners- I investigated unconventional control strategies, such as plasma-assisted combustion, on a full-scale atmospheric test rig.
