Position: design engineer- Project engineeringDesign of plants for food powder production (milk powder, coffee, etc.) and other kinds of products for the food industry, by means of physical and mechanical treatments.They are included in my tasks to choose the most fitting machineries for the aim (on the basis of maker, model, preformance, price, etc.), their economic evaluation (by means of direct contact with different suppliers), the codification of chosen items into the management system and the execution of the purchase order.- DrawingsPreparation of P&IDs and detailed Flow sheets, on the basis of symbology established by current regulations (ISO, ANSI, etc.).- Project managementCooperation with the Technical Manager and with actual Project Manager for initial training and further collaboration in management of commissions of food industry sector.

Position: design engineer- Design of wastewater treatment plantI work with the technical-commercial department (the company holder) for the execution of sizing calculations of different parts of the plant and for the preparation of the draft project- Machineries selectionOn the basis of sizing calculations, I choose the most fitting machineries for the scope (on the basis of maker, model, preformance, price, etc.). I'm also in contact with different suppliers for specific designs and for preliminary price quotations.- Economical evaluationCooperating with the technical-commercial department, I calculate the price of the project (purchase costs, fixed costs, agents' percentages, customers' specific conditions, profit, etc.) to be submitted to customers during following negotiation phase.- Preparation of commercial documentsIs part of my tasks the preparation of two commercial documents: the "Commercial Offer", with the description of the plant, selling price and shipping and payment conditions, and the "Technical Appendix", with a detailed descriptions of main machineries and items proposed.- DrawingsPreparation of AutoCAD drawings: general layout, flow-diagram and P&ID.- AgentsIn order to collect complete information for our work, I'm often in contact with agents locally working for the management of already built plants or designated to gain details from new potential customers during design and negotiation phases.

> Cooperation with main business functions:- Managment and administration department: costs evaluation and preparation of sales list.- Commercial department: preventive control of orders and classifification of new projects and articles.- Production department: management of technical details about articles processing (processing sequences, chemicals recipes, etc.), compliance check of master samples, logistic support.- Laboratories: examination of customers' specifications and tests results.> Technical support to technicians:- Management of information through commercial, technical and administrative departments.- Management and archiving of technical information about articles processing (SAP system update, management of interconnected files for archiving and consultation of technical details).- Support to technicians on chemical aspects related to articles processing.- Management of information flux through Group's laboratories and the technical staff.> Execution of tests: compliance testing on daily production.> "Lean Production": I was part of a team with the purpose to re-organize the business on the basis of "Lean" methodology.
