Technical sales covering Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Palestine, Switzerland.In this role, I could join cross-country projects, contributing technically and developing my entrepreneurship within Nokia organization. Partner portfolio covered: 3 rd party IP business (Juniper, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Extreme, F5), Security (Check Point, Fortinet, Juniper), Internet of Things, LTE to the Home, 3 rd party Microwave (Dragonwave, SIAE, Alcatel-Lucent). Within the above scope, I was leading:- promotion of new business and presenting business plans to top management;- preparation of tender documentation, support of local account managers during negotiation;- interlock with Business Lines and 3 rd party Vendors to export Customer requirements and roadmaps.

Responsibility for technical activities for top-level Customers (ISP and Public Company) focusing on IP Mobile Backhauling and IP/MPLS fixed networks. Customers under my responsibility were: Wind Telecomunicazioni (primary), RFI (Railways Group).IP solutions proposed to my Customers involve third-party devices: Juniper Networks, Cisco, Extreme Networks, Accedian Networks. I used to take care of technical solution management, business development, tender answers, bill-of-material creation and pricing, purchase order handling (supporting Logistic Department).

After the merge between Ericsson Lab Italy and Marconi SpA at the beginning of 2007, I continued my job as system engineer for IP-based transport networks.I have been involved in the whole life-cycle of a product: from the definition of the product requirements to the SW design, from the risk assessment to the trouble shooting, from the product release to the maintenance.Main projects where involved (from the most recent one):- software for network planning and network dimensioning of T-MPLS and Ethernet transport networks (part of the Marconi’s portfolio for Ethernet/T-MPLS optical metro networks; e.g. OMS2400).- maintenance and trouble shooting of the OMS1600 and OMS1200.

Designing in the area of IP-based transport networks, taking part to the whole life-cycle of a product: from the definition of the requirements to the SW design, from the risk assessment to the trouble shooting, from the product release to the maintenance.Main projects where involved:- a network equipment providing traffic switching and traffic aggregation, based on the ATM protocol and ATM over IMA protocol.- implementation of an embedded software to enable a network operator to test, remotely, classical telephony terminals.- implementation of a network prototype based on IP/MPLS protocols.- involvement in the European project named EURO-NGI (www.eurongi.org).- involvement in the Italian project named TANGO (http://tango.isti.cnr.it/), to investigate algorithms and traffic models for the quality of service guarantee.- software designer to provide operators a dynamic bandwidth management in IP/MPLS networks (http://coritel.it/NS/projects/asterix.html).

Research activity on IP and WDM transport networks within Italian and European projects. Published several papers on these topics.
