- I have translated from and into English/Italian a wide of variety of written genres, including poetry, fiction, website copy, booklets, pamphlets, museum panels, children's literature, academic articles etc. I also do editing work, polishing the writing for all the above.- Takeaway: undoubtedly the variety of genres, literary forms and styles I've had to translate from and into, which has greatly honed my skills in writing but also in reading and analysing a text.

- Managed the inter-cultural project Venetian Crossroads. 75% of my time was spent writing (and rewriting) an alternative guidebook to Venice, working alongside a photographer, translator and sub-editor.- Besides writing, I carried out research, edited pieces by guest contributors and interview people.- Takeaway: managing a diverse team of professionals and meeting the goals of multiple stakeholders.

- Translated into English and edited two original tv-screenplays written by Italian screenwriters (creators of Gomorrah: The TV Series).- Takeaway: The continuous edits and changes to each draft were a great lesson in re-writing. I learned a huge amount about topic research, character development, story arc, scene structure and dialogue.

- Wrote articles on culture and current affairs for the regional newspaper Corriere del Veneto.- Takeaway: invaluable training in writing succinctly, finding out worthwhile stories, using my initiative, interviewing people, adapting to a fast-paced environment, and not least negotiating contract details.

- Created copy for the company, such as slogans, sales letters and website content.- Wrote the content for around 150 Points of Interest for a geo-localised audioguide of Venice.- Voiced the English and Italian audio recordings of the audioguide.- Takeaway: doing in-depth research on one place and finding succinct catchy ways of telling the city's stories, as well as discovering my passion for doing voice-over work.

- Part of a team promoting the "Prosecco Landscape" in the Veneto region of Italy. The objective was to include the landscape in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list, which was successfully met in early 2019.- Drafted the English speeches and assisted in preparing their delivery at the UNESCO candidature sessions. - Takeaway: working on a tight schedule, choosing the right words, accommodating and achieving consensus between many stakeholders when writing the drafts.

- I assisted in organising the event and worked as interpreter from English into Italian and viceversa at the workshop on "Strengthening Volunteers Involvement in NGOs", co-organised by the Consiglio Italiano per Rifugiati and Danish Refugee Council.

- Taught a class of Italian students with advanced level of English to translate into English. Specifically, texts from contemporary and children's literature.- Takeaway: A revealing experience on translating and writing, especially thanks to my students' questions. I realised how right J.L. Borges was when he said "the original is unfaithful to the translation."

- I taught English and Literature to students of all ages, especially teenagers in state schools.- I prepared lesson materials and worked as examiner throughout the academic year.

- Managing the Logistics Cluster website, writing and sharing documents online for implementing humanitarian partners, such as operational overviews, meeting minutes, maps, infographics, reports, newsletters.- Managing data and information for Logistics Cluster operations. Proficient use of Excel, HTML, ArcGIS.- Liaising with field officers.- Managing Logistics Capacity Assessment reports to be shared with humanitarian partners.- Preparing Lessons Learned Reports for humanitarian logistics incidents.- Managing the Logistics Cluster Social Media accounts, planning project media strategies.- Attending trainings / workshops on Logistics, Information Management, GIS, and Field Security.

- Worked as Portfolio Assistant to a Donor Relations Officer in the Government Partnerships Division (PGG).- Assisted in writing funding proposals for Government Donors, and wrote briefing documents for WFP Executive Offices. - Liaised with Government representatives and assisted Donor Relations Officer in her communications with them.- Managed all data and information on WFP-Government relations, carrying out research on the latest relevant updates. Proficient in Word and Excel as required. - Prepared schedules for and participated in high-level meetings with government representatives, i.e. Executive Board.

- Taught General English courses to young learners and adult students of all levels.

- Taught General English courses to Navy Officers at the Istituto di Studi Militari Marittimi.- Taught Business English courses to employees of Unicredit Bank.
