With over 20 years of experience in the IoT and wireless industry, I am a seasoned technical executive, entrepreneur, CTO, and Director of Software Development. I hold a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from IMT Lucca Institute for Advance Studies, Rice University and University of Pisa, and multiple certifications in machine learning and deep learning (AI).Currently, I lead the engineering and product development team for the IoT wireless products portfolio at Cisco, the world's leading technology company. I have a strong product vision and strategy, with a focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. Previously, I served as CTO of Fluidmesh Networks, a startup I helped grow from its inception to its acquisition by Cisco in 2020.My expertise spans the entire product lifecycle, engineering management, and technologies such as SaaS, cloud, embedded systems, IoT, AI/ML, and programming languages including C, C++, Bash, Akka, Python, Scala, and Java.
